What paid users actually pay for
Everyone — free and paid — gets Vera's full knowledge, full honesty, and full side-of-the-user stance. Paid users are simply paying to use Vera more often and to help keep her free for people who genuinely can't afford to pay. Your subscription is part tool, part mutual aid. That's the whole deal.
Common questions
Is Vera really free?
Yes. Free Vera gives you 5 questions every day, with access to every feature — documents, photos, voice, web search, and location-aware answers. No credit card, no catch. Free stays free.
What happens when I hit 5 questions on the free tier?
Vera politely lets you know you've used your daily questions and shows you the upgrade options. You get a fresh 5 questions tomorrow automatically. Follow-up questions in the same conversation don't count against the limit.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Plus and Pro are monthly subscriptions through Stripe. Cancel with one click in your Stripe account and you'll keep your paid access until the end of your current billing period.
What does "family sharing" mean on Vera Pro?
Pro lets you add up to 5 email addresses to your household — each person gets their own cloud history and their own daily question bucket. Great for families who share the same financial/legal/healthcare paperwork.
Will paying influence Vera's answers?
Never. Paid, free, sponsored — everyone gets the same Vera. The whole reason Vera exists is to be on the user's side without an agenda. Paying doesn't change what Vera says; it just gives you more of her time.
Is my data private?
Yes. Your questions and documents are never sold, never used to train anyone else's AI, and never shared. Free users' history lives only in their browser. Paid users' history lives in our encrypted database and is only visible to them.
